Science: Volcano experiment

For the last past few weeks in Science we have been working and researching on Volcano Eruption we have also been doing experiments. Here are some of the information I learned/discover about Volcano Eruption + Our volcano explosion and Volcano Model

1) Volcanoes are formed when magma from within the Earth's upper mantle works its way to the surface. At the surface, it erupts to form lava flows and ash deposits.

2) The Earth's crust is made up of huge slabs called plates, which fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. These plates sometimes move. The friction causes earthquakes and volcanic eruptions near the edges of the plates. The theory that explains this process is called plate tectonics.

3) Magma also rises when these tectonic plates move toward each other. When this happens, part of Earth's crust can be forced deep into its interior.
