Ever been to Wellington

Ever been to Wellington before if you have you might have been to the Botanic Garden or the beehive. If I had a chance to go to Disover Wellington I would go to the Botanic Garden with my family and friends. Why? beacuse One: my mom loves plants an garden she even has her own garden at our house and seconde: because I love plantas too and the Botanic Garden would be a great place to studdy and look at diffrent types of plants that you don't usally see ever day. I love the Botanic Garden Statues they are very intreting and cool.

Another place that i might like to visit is the Wellington Beehive and Why? Because one day I really want to meet Jonh Key the Prime Minster

Botanic Gardens

Our trip to Botanic Garden

PicMonkey Image.jpgOn Thursday 13th October our school went on a trip to the Auckland Botanic Garden in Manurewa.

I was super excited to go because I never been there before. Our class was talking about what we might see, hear, feel or smell. Next we went on the bus except for Mrs. Vickers she had to stay. We stayed on the bus for half an hours and I heard a lot of chatter on the way.

Finally we were there. I was so excited to go out that I couldn’t hold it in. Everyone hopped off the bus and onto the footpath.

The first place we went to was the edible garden it was filled with lots of different type of fruit and vegetable. There was a big wood shed but it wasn’t a shed it just look like it but without a roof and a wall. I saw a shrub and strawberry garden that had grown after that we left the edible garden.

Next we went to the harakeke plants, it's a big green plant that the Maori used to use to make flax baskets and strings in the olden days. They also used it for the horse carriage to attach it to the horse.

Then when me and my group kept on walking on and on then we spotted a cherry blossom tree and across from the cherry blossom tree we saw the nikau tree. They are really big and tall. Near the blossom tree was stone stair steps. Our whole class took a photo there. On the first picture it was funny because we were all allowed to do the dab.

Next we went to see the magnolia in a forest. There was so many that I liked they were all pink and red and yellow and one that looked kind of reddish pink. My favorite one was the pink magnolia because it reminds me of when my nana and I went over to Samoa. Next our group went to the rose garden and there was a very nice rose arch. I saw a lots of white, yellow, red, and pink roses we went to see them and they were so pretty and smelled like roses. There were also chairs that had peoples name on it that passed away which was very sad so now moving on.

Next we went to the children garden center where we went to sit down in the nice cool shade. Then each of us were given a piece of paper to as our S.S.D that stands for Silent. Sustainable. Drawing.

But then sadly all days must come to an end. So we went back to the bus and hopped on it was really fun going. I wish we could go and spend some more time. Well my legs are tried and I feel sleepy but tomorrow will be another day.
