Reading: Fact or Opinion


This week for literacy in Reading we have been working on learning about Facts and Opinion and the meaning of both words. Our fact or opinion was based on Teachers Striking in New Zealand we answered some question and had to figure out if it was a fact or opinion. I learned that definition of "Fact" is something that is always true, Facts can be proven we can find facts by doing research. The definition of "Opinion" is what you think or feel it can not be proven though.

Reading Task: Inference


This week for literacy. Me and my group have been learning about inference's. Each slide has an article that we read. After we finish reading the article we answer question that are based on the article. We write the answer that we think is correct.

Reading: Man and Sea


This week for Reading me and my group have been reading a Book called "Man and Sea". Written by Elia Taumata. This book is based on about what the Tatau is, how we got it and what it means to get it. The Tatau is a tattoo that is originated in Samoa, it is only for Samoan men's to be tattooed on. Mostly Tatau are tattooed on Samoan Leader or Chiefs of their village.

Reading: Energy Wise


This week for reading we have been learning about energy and how to save energy.


We also discovered these amazing shoes called "Kinetic Energy Shoe" Its a articular about a shoe that every time you walk or run or take a step it fills up the batter that's inside. Students in Ho Chi Minh City at the University of Technology made these shoe to make the future easier for us humans.

Reading: Dancing with the Stars!

This week in Literacy, we have been working on our reading task, All about "Dancing with the stars", it a New - Zealand show, and there are all types of other Dancing with the stars around the world as well. So after finishing my reading task this is my result we also had to do another reading task containing a book called " Almost Champion" and had to answer some simple and hard questions. I really enjoyed doing this because I learned new things. Including my positive poster I created.

Reading - Diary Of A Wild Boy!


This week for Literacy in Reading --
We've been working on Diary Of A Wild Boy. Its about this young boy named Brando. 19 year  old Brando spend all his life in boring jobs and unhealthily habits which were leading him  nowhere, until he took this great adventure that changed his life. He walked around the whole coastline of New Zealand. During this adventure Brando learned the true meaning of life, after reading the story we had to answer some question that had to do with Brando during his adventure on a slide I finished answering all of them and here is what I finished with!.

This week in Room 1 for reading we have each be reading a book called the serious game how a Man name Kae his actions made Tiniurau very anger. I have done a drawing that tells you where the the people in the story or the characters come from, where they live, what people are in there generations and actions they have done bad and good and there name. I have enjoyed making this drawing.
