Idea for Poster

Compose theater - In Christchurch central city, there could be a
huge stone wall that had a projector on it. A projector that plays
movies for anyone who wants to watch and best of all the projector
is powered by compost or rubbish. So you just tip in your rubbish or
compost and it will melt Making gas for it to work.
1. So the process will happen in like a indestructible metal burning container that can be built in a building. So.. that metal container will be doing all the work, yeps that right!. The metal container will be heated up at about to a really hot temperature and then the compost and rubbish that will be tipped in will melt and make gas for it to work.

2. Then there will be a projector that will show a movie on a wall with a white sheet making it for anyone who wants to watch movies.

I think this is a good idea to use in Christchurch, because the damage that the earthquake caused can destroy everything. While this Compost Theater could save so much money and a lot of energy. Plus!, who doesn't like a free movie theater right in the PUBLIC!

Maths: 3D Clay Making

This week for math's. Our class have been working on making 3D shapes for our class so we can use them for learning. What we used to make the shape was the air drying clay that Mrs Stone (our math's teacher) gave us. Then we were put into three groups, then we each got to pick a 3D shape.We we chose those shapes we had to model it meaning this was going to get mess!

The shape I chose was Octahedron it has:

• 12 Edges
• 6 Verticals
• 8 Faces

Visual Mihi!

This week Team 5 have been working on our "Visual Mihi" on hyper studio. Part of what we do is drawing more like art and also tracing. We also have to draw our self and 4 fact about us but draw about it. I worked on my Visual Mihi for 2 weeks and here it the reveal of it!. So if you look in the top right corner you can see that I love netball. If you take a look to the top left corner you can see that I dearly love my family very much and they also come first before everything else. If you look at the bottom left corner you can see that I am original Samoan my whole family is as well, I respect my culture and make sure to keep it alive!, if you see the last square which is the bottom right corner you can see that the Bible is a very important thing in my life looking from the Bible you would properly already know that I go to church which is right I do! My church is called " Tamaki P.I.C" not far from our school like really close. My mum who says her self said she finished reading the whole entire Bible starting from the Old Testament to the New Testament. The most times I read Matthews. The lord is a big part of my life!. Last but not least if you look in the middle you will see my drawing of myself that I drew. That MY VISUAL MIHI FOR 2018!

2. What was life like for Māori before the Treaty?: Before the treaty of Waitangi Queen Victoria's government gained the sole right to purchase land.

3. What were Pakeha doing in New Zealand before the Treaty?: Māori and Pākehā throughout the 1830s. The British were worried about French interest in New Zealand. ... By 1839 a total of 52 Māori chiefs had signed the Declaration, which they saw as the guarantee of their independence.

4. What is a treaty?: A formally concluded and ratified agreement between states.

5.Why did some Māori  agree to sign the Treaty?: Treaty of Waitangi was a written agreement made in 1840 between the British Crown (the monarch) and more than 500 Māori chiefs

6.Why did the British want a Treaty?: They wanted it because controls on sales of Māori land to Europeans.

7.When was the Treaty signed?: The treaty was signed on 6th February 1840

8.Who translated the Treaty into Te Reo Māori?: James Busby ( British Resident ), Henry Williams ( Missionary) and his son Edward were the ones who translated English into Maori, Hobson presented this Maori language.
