Should possum be Predator Free Or No

Hi bloggers so New Zealand has been having this problem with possum they are pest to New Zealand when they were brought in 1837 because of there soft skin and thick, New Zealanders decide that it would be good to start a fur industry, so they brought possum from Australia to New Zealand. The Government said it was it was illegal to bring more possum in NZ but then possum were living in 450 parts of New Zealand, so in 1949 possum were a pest to New Zealand. New Zealand goal is to clear all possum in New Zealand by 2050.

Whats wrong with possum:
They are pest animal to New Zealand. They are predators and threats to our forest and native land, they eat leaves, flowers, leaf buds, fruit, eggs, birds, insects and snails.

Here are three reason why possum should all be killed:

1# Some animals are endangered because of possum

2# They are damaging our native trees

3# They are no good they ruin our environment for our native animals.

Tuatara

What is a Tuatara, Well the Tuatara Lain Name is Sphenodon punctatus But its Maori name is Tuatara means (Peck on the Back).

The Tuatara is one of the most unique animals in the world.Though it looks like a lizard but they are both quite very different. They are only found in New Zealand only. The Tuatara is the only surviving member of the reptile family named Sphendon meaning wedge tooth that became extinct 60 million years ago. Tuatara may live up to 100 years. The Tuatara is also a close relative to snakes and lizard. The Tuatara is a carnivorous animal meaning it only eats other animal in so it can survive, it also preys on insects, beetles, spiders, birds eggs, frogs and small reptiles and mammals. They are predator free now on other islands away from like dog and cats and ferrets those kind of animals are its Predator.

I love my Tuatara pet I can't wait to play with him Yayyy!!

The Tana Mahuta Walk was what I most enjoyed visiting. I just enjoyed it so much because of peaceful trees and the crimping of the birds high in the tree. I found out that it's New Zealand's largest known living kauri tree. Wow!, the Tana Mahuta walk takes place in the Waipoua Forest. I just loved walking along Waipoua forest tracks with my group they were amazed and we experiences so much. Maybe we can go back next time!

Flag Design What do you think?

Hey Bloggers so the prime minster of NZ suggested that we should replace our flag with a new flag so.

Here's my design of what our flag should look like:
The Black and white represent the All black a team that work together and how they represent our country with Pride.
The blue side represents the sea and ocean the blue wavy sea that we swim in and when we come up to the beach it is just too beautiful.
And the green fern represents our land our beautiful New Zealand where we've been taken care of it always have and always will it also represents our native trees and forest.
What do you think?
